These incredible Broadway musicians and of the iconic and award-winning Manhattan Brass will perform a free youth concert, “Blast off with Brass” - an educational music program designed to engage young audiences about the basic elements of music. Their programs have received national attention (CNN, NPR's 'Performance Today’) and have been presented to literally hundreds of thousands of students spanning the entire United States. This program is fully interactive with the students from the very first note, and take them on a journey through music, history, and perception. In addition, the quintet makes time at the end of their program for questions from the students and invites them to come to the stage and touch the instruments, themselves.
SUGGESTED AGE LEVEL: grades 3-5

Storytime Quartet

Five Broadway artists from the captivating Storytime Quartet will perform “Stories of Royalty” – a unique blend of dynamic storytelling and live music that creates an entertaining and engaging educational concert program. Classic fairytales, such as “The Princess and the Pea”, are seamlessly paired with string quartet music from famous composers creating a captivating performance full of imagination and creativity. Children will also get a valuable up close look at the string instruments.
SUGGESTED AGE LEVEL: grades K-3
