Broadway Chamber Players concludes their 4th Season by performing the immensely rich and intimate chamber ensemble arrangement of Mahler's 4th Symphony.
This powerfully colorful work left Bruno Walter describing the work as "Dream-like and unreal [...] in the fairy-tale of the Fourth everything is floating and unburdened [...] the blissful feeling of exaltation and freedom from the world communicates itself to the character of the music."
The BCP Chamber Orchestra lead by Broadway conductor and oboist, Keisuke Ikuma, will be joined by a current star of the Broadway production of In Transit, soprano Amy Justman - singing the captivating solo in the IV movement "Heavenly Life".
