Todd Groves is a Manhattan-based musician adept at performing on saxophones, flutes, clarinets, recorders, and ethnic flutes. Todd's Broadway credits include Aladdin, Motown, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, Follies, Catch Me If You Can, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Ragtime, White Christmas, Sunday in the Park with George, and Grey Gardens. He has been heard on NBC's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Emmy Awards, the Tony Awards, and Late Show with David Letterman.

 

Mr. Groves can be heard on the releases of HEM, Boyz II Men, R. Kelly, and Josh Young. Recent performance engagements have found Todd sharing the stage with Audra McDonald, Michael Feinstein, Kristin Chenoweth, Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin, in addition to freelance work with the New Jersey Symphony, American Symphony, and the New Jersey Saxophone Quartet.

 

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Todd graduated from the University of the Arts and performed extensively in theaters across Philadelphia and Atlantic City before moving to New York City. He teaches saxophone and jazz at the University of Delaware, where he has been a featured soloist with the UD Wind Ensemble, Delaware Steel, and UD Jazz Ensemble I, as well as the Wind Symphony of Southern New Jersey, the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, and the University of the Arts big band. Todd is also an active composer and arranger whose Delaware Jazz Suite for saxophone quartet was premiered by the New Jersey Saxophone Quartet at the World Saxophone Congress before receiving its New York premiere by the same group at Carnegie Hall.

Currently the cellist in the new production of Gigi, Amy Ralske's Broadway credits include Aida, Bombay Dreams, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, 9 to 5, American Idiot, and Motown the Musical. As an active freelancer across New York City, Amy has performed with the American Ballet Theatre, New York City Opera Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, New York Pops, and the New Jersey Symphony. She has performed and recorded with many popular artists, and previously toured with Sheryl Crow, Hall and Oates, Barbara Streisand, and Harry Connick, Jr.   

 

A graduate of the Juilliard School's pre-college division, Amy received a BM from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, and a MM from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, where she held quartet and teaching fellowships.
